These decorative items are very rare and fascinate through their simplicity and design.
They are signed and are now a piece of art! They stand in several museums of modern art!
Due to the gyroscope mount, it is well suited to provide lighting on a ship.
These petroleum lamps were designed in the 1950s by artist Ilse D. Ammonsen and have been manufactured by Daproma ever since. This is the cleanest, precision work. Manufacturing the Copenhagen gyroscope requires more than 160 process steps. They are manufactured with a precision of 1/100 mm.
They are more than lamps, they are sculptures.
The lamps are in a very good condition. They are quite old and have only slight signs of wear with a beautiful patina.
They can be polished of course.
Please note: sold without the artist's description and description texts.
