A graduate of the École du Louvre and a member of the Taylor Foundation founded in 1844, Angelo Pioppo is a French artist whose promising talent has attracted the attention of the public and of collectors.
From Cuba to the Mauritanian Sahara, through the United States and South Africa, he uses nature and cultures as his main source of inspiration. He creates a work of a thousand colours populated by the mythical characters he discovers during his travels.
Inspired by the precursors of contemporary art, particularly the icons of pop art and neo-expressionism, Angelo Pioppo pays homage to them in original, expressive and structured creations.
Angelo Pioppo's ultra-colourful and uncompromising painting is marked by a certain transgression that invites the viewer to reflect and daydream.
Very beautiful drawing on paper by an artist to follow! This magnificent work evokes the influence of Robert Combas, Hérvé Di Rosa but also contemporary artists such as Yayoi Kusuma, Kaws, Faile or Murakami!
As a reminder - This is an original work on paper that can have defects: small folds, small ink stains... The works we sell are intended to be framed, and the pictures of illustrations with frames represent an overview of the result. Image rights are the property of the artist. All works of art will be delivered rolled in tubes. Happy bidding to all!
