Dran is a Toulouse artist coming from the graffiti culture, who uses many techniques (drawing, painting, silk screen printing, volume, sewing). His art is a medium of criticism on contemporary society, littered with humour and cynicism.
Dran is an independent artist in the current Urban Art scene. His style is identifiable by the controlled line of his drawings combined with real images and tinted with dark humour. While he started drawing through graffiti he is now also active in other fields like painting and photography.
Same artistic movement (Street Art or Urban Art) than Shepard Fairey, Brusk, Banksy, Rero, C215, Jef Aérosol, JR, Swoon, Speedy Graphito, Vhils, Piguet, Ernest Pignon Ernest, Martin Whatson, Atari, Kaws, D Face, JonOne, Sandra Chevrier, FinDac, Os Gemeos....
