The Imperial Watch Company was founded in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland in 1875. It marketed watches around the world under various trademarks, including HANNOVER, GOLDMARK, MARLBOROUGH, SECESSION, The SUN, NORWICH and IMPERIAL.
Rare interesting collector's watch.
The watch was made in 1938.
Black dial - original - very good condition for its age. Arabic gold-coloured numerals. Small seconds at 6 o'clock. Gold coloured minute scale running around the outside. Gold coloured spear hands. Signed Chronometre Imperial. Grooved bezel.
Movement has Geneva stripes, signed Swiss Made 15 Jewels - silver-coloured. Movement in original condition - an interssantes calibre with chatons. A movement of very good quality.
The movement is in working order.
Chrome case in beautiful condition.
Steel back. Outside KJ with arrow, metal chrome back stainless steel. Decorative pattern on the inside.
Oversize - 40 mm without crown - with crown 42 mm - weight 43 g
Nato linen strap 22 mm - length 27 cm
