Manufacture Fabrique d'Horlogerie Elida was founded by J. Kobel in Fleurier. In 1916 the company was renamed Elida Watch Co. Kobel & Bilat, with Bilat as a new business partner. The company was located at 8 rue Pasquier. This company later became the Nouvelle Fabrique d'Horlogerie de la Montre Elida S.A. (New Elida watch Manufacturing Co. Ltd.). The managing director was Ernest Klemmer who died in 1934.

Original dial - silvered with Arabic Art Deco - numerals in black. Fine hands with finest tips - blued - absolutely rare shape.
Movement silver-coloured original condition - inscribed Elida Watch Co. 15 Jewels Swiss. Fine early movement.
