Royal Boch is a Belgian pottery manufacturer, probably the most famous on Belgian soil. The company was founded in 1841, was renamed Boch Frères S.N.C. in 1844 and later became part of Villeroy & Boch. The designer Ernest D'Hossche is known as protégé of Charles Catteau (1880-1966), whom he succeeded in 1952 as artistic director of Boch Keramis.
