János Török (1932 - 1996)
He graduated in 1956 from mif porcelain as a student of István Gádor, István Lőrincz and Miklós Borsos. After that, until his death, he was the designer of the Zsolnay Porcelain Factory in Pácsi, seeking to implement new ideas in a new form of expression. The porcelain figures have accompanied him throughout his creative career: from 1960 the early natural conception was replaced by abstract decorative design. Since the 1970s, his small sculptures have been characterized by humorous, caricaculating depictions. In addition to figurative plastics, he designed medals, large ornaments and memorabilia as a factory designer. At the symposiums, he created ceramic frames.
