A skilled artisan with a passion for cycling, unlikely fussy, coined his first series of bicycles: it was the year 1896, his name was Umberto Dei.
This is how an extraordinary collection of bicycles was born, unanimously considered a marvel of the nascent world cycling industry. The top quality and perfection gave the brand a reputation among cyclists and runners all over the world.
Umberto Dei himself participated as a protagonist in the 1901 world championships on track (Berlin). Dei racing bicycles won everywhere and dominated the scene for almost half a century, gathering laurels and records in the most important velodromes. Nowadays the Dei bicycles show their history between myth and legend in their refined balance among technology, natural materials and chiselled details.
