Jaeger-LeCoultre is a Swiss watchmaker belonging to the Richemont group. The company is based in Le Sentier, Switzerland, where it was initially founded in 1833 under the name LeCoultre (until 1937). 1937: merger of Jaeger and LeCoultre.

Expressedly beautiful, interesting original dial. Bicolour look. Outside minute scale in black. Arabic luminous numerals. Pointed hands with luminous material. Large central second hand. Inner ring has baton and triangular indices. Alarm set by moving arrow with the upper crown. Signed JAEGER-LECOULTRE. SWISS below the 6.

Movement calibre 489 (stamped inside movement) - inscribed swiss Fab. suisse Jaeger-LeCoultre (golden script) 669640. Gold balance wheel with ruby bearing jewel set in gold.
The movement is in working order.
