The company was founded in 1846 by Ulysse Nardin in Le Locle, Switzerland. Along with Louis JeanRichard-dit-Bressel and Henri Grandjean, Ulysse Nardin is considered the founder of the Swiss marine chronometer industry and a manufacturer of first-class wristwatches.

This watch was manufactured around 1950.
Original gold-coloured dial. Small second hand at nine o'clock. 30 minute counter at 3 o'clock. Blued baton hands and chronograph hands. Black inner and outer dial. Labelled ULYSSE NARDIN LOCLE SUISSE and Swiss Made under the 6 o'clock. Antimagnetic above the six.
Original movement inscribed with ULYSSE NARDIN SWISS. Chatons and gold wheels. The movement is in very beautiful original condition.
The movement is in working order.
Screwed back lid. Polished 909355 on the outside. Company hallmark Ulysse Nardin acier inoxydable on the inside.
Watch size: 36 mm without crown. With crown: 39 mm - oversize - weight: 58 g.
The watch is in very good condition and barely worn to unworn.
Fine black leather strap with white stitching - 18 mm. Length with watch: 24.5 cm. The leather strap will not be shipped to some countries outside of the EU.
