Pair of antique Chinese Parcel Gilt Bronze Garlic Mouth Chilong Vase
the compressed pear-shaped body rising from a high spreading foot to a long tapering neck, surmounted by a facetted and lobed 'garlic-head' below a waisted mouth with everted lip, cast with a sinuous chilong twisting around the long neck, covered overall with a dark patina enhanced with irregular areas of gilding.
