Each volume has a hardcover binding that is quite damaged with various rubbing and blunt corners. Spine with 6 raised bands. Plain covers and spine. Strangely, the interior is in very good condition as a whole. Note that there is some foxing and scattered soiling. The edges are darkened with age. 2 leaves from the second volume are torn along their length over about 5 centimetres.
