First print at this date, with the errata of 8 lines on the back of the fourth leaf and the beautiful fold-out plate of the Procession which "is missing in many copies" according to Cazaux.
This is the first edition annotated by Dupuy. It contains a foreword by the latter in which he reproduces Villeroy's painting replaced in the text by the picture of the Salic law.

Binding in good condition, work in its brown mottled full calfskin binding, covers and spine in good condition, a small snag on the headcap, rubbed corners, pigmented red edges, adorned ribbed spine, gilded titling.
Inside in good condition, water stains visible in the bottom margin, lovely headbands, culs-de-lampe, ornamental initials, one out of text plate engraved by etching.
