The cutting board is part of the Cylinda Line created by Arne Jacobsen in 1967 for Stelton, Denmark.
Arne Jacobsen hoped that Cylinda-line products would enrich the lives of average consumers with industrial design that was functional and affordable. Cylinda-line won the Danish Design Council’s ID Prize in 1967. The design aimed at simplicity with a soft finish of lightly brushed stainless steel.
Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) is one of the most acknowledged Danish architects and designers worldwide.
This board is new, still in its plastic film with its production number sticker and the paper notice (the cardboard box is missing though). The wooden board can be oiled with the oil of your choice.
The board is in stainless steel and beechwood.
