AUDION MX-960 Direct Drive
From the end of the 70s and is still correct - Made in Japan!

This turntable is a absolute rarity. A wolf in sheep's clothing and very well finished in an attractive design. Also it has an excellent sound!
It dates from the late 70s and was distributed mainly in the Benelux countries and France under the name Marlux and tradedas a Hi-Fi.
The variant for Germany ran under the name AUDION.
Under an excellent processed wood cabinet is a strong, brushless motor.
The speeds are separately pitchable and can be finely adjusted via a stroboscope.
In addition to the tone arm is an Insertion facility for an extra headshell.
Technically the unit is in good condition. The needle was recent renewed.
