This extraordinary H0 scale (1:87) model represents a pioneering three-unit electric rail car train designed for the mountainous Silesian route between Nieder Salzbrunn and Halbstadt, built in 1914 by AEG and LHB. These trains featured visually striking design elements based on express train passenger cars of the era, including clerestory roofs, truss rods, and inset doors. The motor car located between the two cab control cars ensured excellent running characteristics on routes with curves.
