An elegant bed linen with just the two initials R.L.
The initials are double embroidered and in high relief.
Each letter carries a small floral token.
There is no doubt that this would have been a marriage bed linen
as a wedding ring is "clasped" to the initial R. and in the shape of
small pearls.
In all these years i have handled and loved Antique linen I have never
witnessed this before and I just noticed this by accident.
The edges are festooned scalloped like small "waves".
The initials are 11cm long.
And what makes this bedlinen attractive is that it is 2m30 wide and
thus perfect for a double bed up to 1m80 or even 2m.
