This is the last Palladiana I had in my collection. It is in celluloid with a marble effect in black and mother-of-pearl and is supplied with a Duriom nib no. 4 which retains a good gilding. The pen is flawless and almost perfect despite being 80 years old. After a complete overhaul it turns out to still write perfectly. The photos are all macros to highlight the auctioned item. A bit of history: Palladiana is a very successful pen model that was part of the pre-war production of the Fratelli Rossi Vicenza company, which many know by its later name, in fact after the war, the company changed its name to PEN.CO. The company closed in the late 1950s, overwhelmed by competition in the production of ballpoint pens.
Considering its age, the pen is in excellent condition.
