Exceptional new old stock, Montegrappa Cervinia fountain pen, still sealed in its original case.
Historical notes: In the 1950s, Montegrappa built three affordable models for school use: Cortina, Cervinia and Gardenia. The first Cortina model had a gold nib on printed sheet metal, screw mechanism and ebonite filling system, unique black, burgundy red, or dark blue colour. Later it was improved, taking the name Siusi, it had piston filling system, plastic refill and two-tone colour, making it more youthful. The pen offered here is the first version built until 1955/56. Although this is a school version, it is extremely rare to find it still sealed in its box, which I have not opened at all to take photos, the clip is facing downwards therefore is not visible.
The rarity is in the fact that valuable pens are usually preserved, those for everyday use are absolutely difficult to find in perfect condition; and this one is perfect.
