Ceramic vase in a beautiful Sèvres blue and in gilt and chiselled bronze, signed on the medallion by the French sculptor and medallist Julien Prosper Legastelois (1855-1931). Louis XVI style but Napoleon III period (circa 1890).
Beautiful decoration of garlands, flowers, ribbons, friezes, acanthus leaves,... all the Louis XVI repertoire and much more.
Medallion signed "J.P.Legastelois", where you can see cupid, bow in hand, in a wood.

The vase is in very good overall condition and will be delivered in a suitable packaging.
"Julien Prosper Joseph Marie Edmond Legastelois, known as Julien Prosper Legastelois, is a French sculptor and medallist, born in Paris on 24 May 1855, where he died on 14 April 1931 in the 6th arrondissement.
Julien Prosper Legastelois is a student of Joseph Carlier, Henri Louis Levasseur, Georges Tonnelier and Oscar Roty at the Paris School of Fine Arts."
