Ancient Near Eastern, Achaemenid to Early Hellenistic Silver Lobed Bowl
Circa 5th–3rd century BC
A hammered silver bowl with deep hemispherical body set on a high foot. The wall is worked in strong vertical flutes forming a lobed exterior, each rib running from the rounded basal omphalos to the gently everted rim.
Dimensions: 19cm x 18,5cm x 7g
Provenance: Private European Collection; formerly acquired from old UK and European collection formed since the 1970s.
