Cómoda - Akita Cedar - Japão - Iris Motif (Sem preço de reserva)

This charming small tansu chest is crafted from Akita cedar (Akita-sugi), a wood highly prized in Japan for its beautiful grain and warm texture. The surface has been carefully finished to enhance the dramatic natural wood patterns, creating a striking contrast between light and dark tones. What makes this piece especially distinctive is the carved iris motif (Ayame / Shobu) on the front panels. Floral carvings of this type are relatively uncommon on small Japanese tansu, giving the chest a refined yet artistic presence. Combined with the black metal fittings and rustic finish, the design beautifully blends traditional Japanese craftsmanship with a bold decorative aesthetic. The compact three-drawer structure makes it both practical and decorative — ideal for storing small items, jewelry, tea utensils, stationery, or collectibles. Its size also allows it to fit naturally into modern interiors while still carrying the atmosphere of classic Japanese folk furniture. In addition, the chest shows very little sign of use and remains in exceptionally good condition overall. The wood surface and metal fittings are both beautifully preserved, suggesting that the piece has been carefully stored over the years. A highly atmospheric vintage Japanese decorative chest that works equally well as a functional storage piece or as an eye-catching interior accent. Dimensions: Height: approx. 23 cm Width: approx. 20 cm Depth: approx. 16.5 cm Weight: approx. 1,200g Packed weight: approx. 2,000g 【Shipping & Tax Information】 The item will be carefully packed to ensure safe international delivery.
