A manual 12-cylinder 6L 4-cam 48-valve with a 6-speed gearbox from Aston Martin, and that’s only the beginning!
The Aston Martin brand would certainly no longer exist if it wasn’t for the DB7. Aston Martin's successful DB7 had been available as a 6-cylinder turbo for several years when it was fully revised and technically improved in 1999. Better brakes, an even more stable chassis and now with large floodlights in the front bumper derived from the early DBR1 race car. But the nicest thing about it was that it was Aston Martin's first V12 with nearly 6-litres right from the start, co-developed with Cosworth. Fortunately with maintenance-free timing chains, just like a Lamborghini. This is the powerful Vantage version with a mighty sound. It is highly sought after, especially with the manual Tremac 6-speed gearbox. The 420 hp make it more powerful than the Ferrari Modena or Porsche GT3 from the same period. The interior features a beautiful combination of white Connolly leather and shiny walnut.
The exterior is in dark blue metallic. You can tell from everything about this car that it has driven less than 31,000 miles. Simply a very nice Grand Tourismo, always very well maintained and purchased for beautiful summer drives only. The accompanying booklets will be included and lots of documentation regarding the past is available. The car also comes with a nice hefty Aston Martin DB book, a chronicle of all iconic DB models. The car has been serviced every year and the registration suspended each winter when the car was stored warm. But isn’t there anything negative to report? Yes, there is, the soft-top has some very small traces of wear at the hinges. Recent Dutch periodic inspection, valid for another year until February of 2022. And there are 2 sets of keys.
Simply a very beautiful, well-maintained and honest Aston Martin.
