Wonderful work on small panel, Impressionist style, by the last of the living masters of the Neapolitan Impressionist movement, Professor Francesco Tammaro.
Master Tammaro, together with Chillemi, after the death of master Vassetti, are the last bastions of the artistic tradition of the great Neapolitan School.
This international artist, included in the national catalogue of modern art, with excellent quotations, was born in Naples in 1939 and lives in Sorrento. His subjects are highly appreciated for the elegance and harmony of the scenes and are very rare and sought after by collectors.
His works are an excellent investment.
This work belongs to the series of representations ‘Antichi mestieri’, made in 1999, depicting a lovely poetic scene of Neapolitan life set in old town Naples, in the Sedile di Porto area, with an old local market full of figures and poetry.
The strength of Prof. Tammaro is that he knows how to give a soul and bring to life his works. Title of the work: ‘Mercatini in Sedil di Porto’.
The work is in excellent condition, with signature on the front, artist’s stamp and certificate of authenticity on the back. Work from my personal collection and verified by a registered art expert.
With authenticated photo. Accurate, insured and tracked shipping.
