Johannes Eerdmans (1950) - Emaille schaal met tomaten

The Frisian Johannes Eerdmans was born on 15th October 1950 in Sneek and grew up in Bolsward.
Since his childhood, Johannes Eerdmans was interested in drawing small-sized sailing boats.
For some time, he was trained at the Leeuwarden art academy "vredeman de vries" foundation.
There he discovered that working in groups and making abstract art was not at all his.
From that time on, he followed his own path and continued to draw and paint following his own inspiration and preferences.
He preferred still lifes, winter landscapes and ships.
