Victor Wagemaekers was a Belgian painter and watercolourist with a realistic style who made genre scenes and interiors.
Wagemaekers was a pupil of Franz Courtens around 1900. He first exhibited in 1899 with the artist group Le Sillon.

Wagemaekers painted landscapes, townscapes and farm interiors. His area of activity was the surroundings of Brussels, the Kempen (Achterbos, Balen-Schoor, Mol-Sluis).
He is also considered one of the artists from the painters' colony in Mol.
