Good condition, see description

The myth of Virabhadra is related to that of Shiva’s marriage to Sati and is narrated in the poem "Kumarasambhava", by Kalidasa (4th-5th century AD).
Virabhadra appears standing while wielding the sword with his right hand. He is represented with four arms, wearing two necklaces, and a high conical headdress that emphasizes the aristocratic lineage. Five cobra heads surround his head. The figure of Virabhadra, an emanation of the god Shiva, is obtained from a hand-embossed silver foil; the right leg is in front of the left one. The image of the god is framed by a torana surmounted at the summit by Kirtimukha, the "face of glory"; on the sides are the evocative symbols: the shivalinga on the right and the Nandi bull on the left.
Virabhadra is flanked by ram-headed Daksa and by young Sati.
In good condition of preservation, with signs of wear due to perpetual veneration during domestic rituals.
