Superb Art Nouveau figural dressing-table mirror by WMF, depicting a young woman listening to the first cuckoo of spring. The frame is richly modelled with organic foliate scrolls and asymmetrical lines, typical of WMF’s celebrated Jugendstil production. Executed in silver-plated alpacca with fine detail and soft sculptural modelling. The back retains its original mirror glass and easel support. Condition Very good antique condition – minor age-related wear to the plating consistent with use; mirror glass showing light spotting. No structural damage or repairs. Silver plating remains bright.
