Matteo Negri
Matteo Negri focuses on the use of plastic materials in pop colours that work in an ecological way, from stone to ceramics to resin. He emerged in the artistic landscape with a series of enamelled underwater mines in bright colours. After the series dedicated to the mines, the artist changed gears to something more playful and created a new cycle of works that feature Legos, as in L'Ego Mondrian (blue).

Carlo Nangeroni
Carlo Nangeroni was born to a family of Lombard emigrants on 24 June 1922 in New York. After living in Italy for a time, he returned to New York, where he began his artistic career. In those years he came into contact with the painting action. He dealt with scenography by collaborating with the National Broadcasting Company's television network. This was a period of artistic growth for him, leading to the first Italian exhibition at the Schneider Gallery in Rome. His works are featured in collections in the United States, France, Germany, Italy. Some are in the contemporary art collection of the University of New York, the Turin Modern Art Gallery, and the Saarbriiken Museum of Modern Art just to name a few. This week we have one of his works titled Interferences up for auction.

Sergio Dangelo
An artist known for Nuclear Painting, his works are an example of surrealism, a feature that it has always characterised his paintings and his works, such as in Feuille d'Aube.

Isabella Nazzarri
Isabella Nazzarri was born in Livorno in 1987 and currently works in Milan. Characteristics of this Tuscan artist's work are the diptych and watercolour paper, through which she can express all her art. Through the diptych, the artist uses figurative settings far from reality, while with the watercolour (as used in Innesti #47) she has a more free setting. Her works have been showcased all over the world.

Bernard Aubertin
The exponent of the "Zero Group", Bernard Aubertin is best known for his use of the colour red as in the Semema work for example. These monochromatic works recall the colour of the blood and at the same time the element of fire. His artistic activity took place mainly in Paris, then in Brest. Recently his works have focused more on the use of black, white and gold.

Bruno Locci
Bruno Locci is surely the best known among contemporary Italian artists. His journey began at birth in the 1950s and continued over the course of his lifetime in a thousand different forms, including photos, pictures, digital frames. A master of elegance, with a unique creativity (as shown in Usa e Getta) he reaches a wide audience thanks to the Venetian art gallery Orler, which is among the most important in the Italian art scene.

Emiliano Scanavino
Emilio Scanavino's art has influences of post cubism, characterised by the stylised knot that became his trademark in all of his artistic production. His trademark can be seen in the piece titled Graphic Opera which is featured in this week's auction.
