Decorated in famille verte enamels with Buddhist lion / foo dog motifs among large flowers and scrolling foliage, with further floral decoration around the shoulder and red-and-green border decoration near the foot and neck. The jar is displayed on a fitted wooden stand. Size: Overall Height: 22 cm Jar Height: 17 cm Condition: The base has been drilled, as shown in the photos. There are small star-shaped glaze lines to the interior, which are often seen on early Chinese porcelain pieces from the 16th–18th century. Overall, the piece presents well.
