Very imposing woven and lase bamboo basket that was used to store and protect clothing or other precious and fragile objects. I bought it in Burma, it probably comes from the Lahu ethnic group (see latest photos, Peoples of the Golden Triangle of Paul and Elaine Lewis).
47 cm high by 37 cm wide.
It's an ancient object, almost impossible to find these days.
In fair condition for an item of this period, no longer closes completely, shows signs of its age and use, traces of lime. (See pictures.)
It will be carefully packaged and shipped with insurance with tracking.
