De Akai GX-210D is een klassieke 4-sporen stereo bandrecorder (reel-to-reel) uit de jaren 70, voorzien van automatische omkeerfunctie (auto-reverse) en ondersteuning voor spoelen tot 7 inch. Dankzij het robuuste 3-motorige aandrijfsysteem en de duurzame GX-koppen staat dit model bekend om zijn betrouwbare werking, lage slijtage en uitstekende geluidskwaliteit. Met een frequentiebereik tot 25 kHz en een solide Japanse bouwkwaliteit is de GX-210D nog steeds geliefd bij verzamelaars en liefhebbers van analoge audio.
