卖家的描述
中国青花瓷姜罐,粤系山水装饰——清末/民国初期(约1880–1920)——品相极佳——无底价
一件迷人且地道的中国青花瓷姜罐, dating to the late Qing Dynasty or early Republican period, circa 1880–1920. This attractive hand-painted vessel features a continuous riverside landscape executed in underglaze cobalt blue, depicting traditional dwellings, elegant trees, rolling hills, and distant mountain formations in the classic Canton-inspired decorative style.
The jar displays the characteristics associated with provincial Chinese porcelain production of the period, including a robust globular body, a soft celadon-tinted glaze, visible iron speckling within the porcelain body, and an unglazed neck ring and foot rim. The freely painted decoration and subtle kiln imperfections contribute to its authentic character and historical appeal.
Originally intended for the storage of tea, spices, herbs, or preserved ginger, such jars have become highly sought-after decorative and collectible objects, appreciated for their timeless aesthetic and connection to traditional Chinese ceramic craftsmanship.

The jar is in excellent antique condition.
