Antoine Sanzay has the privilege of exploiting 2 hectares of Cabernet franc on this legendary land. South/South-East facing on clay-limestone soils, all the quintessence of the vineyard is here, right next to the vineyards of the famous neighbor, Le Clos Rougeard! Aging for 16 to 18 months in barrels of 3 to 4 wines and casks. The 2020 vintage of 'Poyeux' by Antoine Sanzay is an incredible success. The bouquet is particularly deep expressing notes of cocoa, noble vegetal, licorice, black truffle and blueberry. The evolution in glass offers a very refined tertiary with a woody character that rounds off this chiseled aromatic. The palate is very vertical with a mineral touch and perfectly balanced. The roundness of tannins is now at the rendezvous and for 10 years!
