Tachibana Koson
Born in 1880. A native of Uji, Kyoto. Studied under Takeuchi Seiho. He taught painting to Kamakura Yoshitaro (1898-1983) and Otomaru Kodo (1898-1997), both of whom later became Living National Treasures.
With original signed and sealed tomobako.
Roller ends: wood, bone.
Measurements:
Scroll: 200,5 x 44 and 191,5 x 44 cm
picture: 112 x 32 cm
Good condition, there are signs of wear due to age and use, stains, scratches, marks; please, see pictures for actual condition.
