This distillery on the island of Trinidad was closed in 2002/2003 by government order. The now-destroyed distillery will never reopen! This bottling was created to celebrate Caroni's 100th anniversary (1918–2018). This exceptional rum is a replica of one of the few Caroni rums sold in Europe during the 1940s. Beyond its petrol notes, this Caroni develops rich aromas of exotic fruits, wood, and spices.
