Nevertheless, it complements the cabinet exceptionally well and creates a very harmonious overall appearance. In the photographs, the pediment may appear slightly narrower than the cabinet. This is only because it was positioned slightly further back during photography in order not to conceal the original mounting nails still present on the pediment. When aligned with the front edge of the cabinet, the dimensions correspond perfectly in both width and depth. While it cannot be confirmed with certainty whether the pediment was originally attached to this specific cabinet, it is an excellent fit and may well have formed part of the original composition. The existing mounting holes do not correspond exactly to the current cabinet structure, suggesting that it may have been removed at some point in the past or may have belonged to a very similar model. The pediment will be supplied separately, allowing the future owner to decide whether to attach it permanently or display the cabinet without it. If desired, it can be mounted easily and would provide a secure and stable attachment. With the decorative pediment installed, the overall height of the cabinet increases by approximately 20 cm.
