盘面 sits on a distinctive raised pedestal foot (takadai), a form associated with formal presentation in Japanese ceramic arts. The body is covered in a soft, pale celadon-cream glaze with characteristic kan'nyuu — a delicate all-over crackle pattern that is one of the most admired qualities of Annan-style ceramics. At the center of the dish, a single insect motif — rendered in expressive, free-flowing cobalt underglaze (gosu) — is painted with bold, gestural brushstrokes in the manner typical of Annan-style decoration. The pedestal foot is similarly adorned with loose cobalt brushwork suggesting abstract plant forms.
差背面带有釉下的印章，棕铁色边（kuchibeni）更增添了经典安南风格的 authenticity。随盘附原签名木箱（tomobako），成为茶道爱好者和日本陶瓷收藏家值得收藏的作品。
