这支笔的笔身采用象牙色漆涂层，带金色纹路，夹毂镶嵌宝石，刻有罗马圣彼得大教堂（Basilica Di San Pietro in Rome）的纹样，镀金珠饰刻有梵蒂冈符号，刻有编号的镀金环，握笔部为车削并手工打磨完成。
