16th century Koto blade is in traditional sharp polish, fine Hada and vivid and dense gunome-midare hamon with thick nioi line. Good kissaki and boshi also.
Tang is mumei, unshortened with 2 holes, deep patination.
The koshirae has old saya with rare iron kojiri end fitting, with samurai family symbol of 3 golden triangle, fine thick bronze habaki, pierced iron large iron tsuba , long tsuka with old but solid original ito, good rayskin, quaity gold inlayed menukies, very old iron fuchi and a rara and unusual iron kashira in the shape of a dragon swirling, very rarely seen!
Also comes with shirasaya set and wooden blade for the complete storage and display.
Sword comes copy of Japanese Registration card and 2 fine sword bags.
