E.T. The Extraterrestrial (The video game that "ruined" Atari).
After the success of Steven Spielberg's super production and after obtaining the rights, Atari started the game based on this movie.
Giving creator Howard Scott just 4 weeks to finish and sell on Christmas 1982.
The video game is one of the great losses that Atari presented in '83 and '84. As a result of many returns, millions of unsold cartridges were buried in a Alamogordo desert, New Mexico.
