This species, characterized by its elongated body, paddle-like limbs, and distinctive tail, lived in shallow coastal and lagoon environments and is among the earliest known marine reptiles. The specimen shows fine skeletal detail, with the skull, spine, and limbs beautifully preserved within the grey shale matrix. The fossil measures 10.9 × 2.3 cm and represents a delicate and scientifically valuable example of Triassic life.
