The biggest one is 1.5 x 1.0 x 1.0 cm in size. Betafite is a rare compound oxy-hydroxide of titanium (+niobium-tantalum) and calcium-sodium-uranium member of the pyrochlore supergroup. It occurs as good crystals in a few exotic chemistry pegmatitic bodies worldwide. Very slightly radioactive, requires an accordingly proper handling.
