Very old and excellent workmanship for a Japanese wooden sculptured Butsudan with high-quality carving techniques made from the Mid Edo Period. Inside there is a Amida Nyorai 阿弥陀如来 (Amithaba Tathagata) Buddhist displayed, very finely carved and standing on a base behind the two doors.
Dimensions: 51 x 15 x 21 cm
Weight: 1838 grams
Still in a good condition, the right hand of the Buddhist figure was lost, one figure of left hand was broken, please also take a look at the listed photos for a reference.
