Herend - Exquisite Set of 12 Plates (19 cm) - "Rothschild Bird" Pattern - Tallerken - Håndmalet porcelæn

Magnificent set of large plates, produced by Herend - “ Rothschild Bird” Collection, well known hand painted pattern with birds perched among branches and scattered insects, in excellent condition.

This pattern was first created in 1850 for the Rothschild family of Europe and is considered to be the epitome of hand painting on porcelain.
Twelve different motifs portray a 19th century tale about Baroness Rothschild who lost her pearl necklace in the garden of her Vienna residence.
Several days later it was found by her gardener, who saw birds playing with it in a tree.

All the pieces are in excellent condition, NO chips NO cracks and NO repairs, please see pictures as they are part of description.
