Magnificent coffee cup and saucer, “Queen Victoria “ Collection , marvelous hand painted, with lovely various butterflies and flowers, gold trimmed, in excellent condition.

The colorful floral and foliate “Queen Victoria “ pattern includes butterflies and other garden insects and was first introduced in 1851 for the First World Exhibition in London.

Reportedly, Queen Victoria herself, was taken with the design and purchased a set, leading to the pattern being named in her honor.
According to Herend literature, "this Chinese-influenced pattern demands the skills of Herend's most talented and experienced painters."

Both pieces are marked with blue Herend shield mark and numbered and are in excellent condition, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see pictures as they are part of description.
