Very rare Zsolnay eozin vase in Art Deco style with blood red glaze (1930). Zsolnay oxblood glaze is made only with eosin, of which there is really very little in antiques.
The Zsolnay brand name has been a symbol of tradition, uniqueness, artistic value and continuous renewal for more than 150 years.
Developed in the 1890s and known as "eosin" (morning blush), its playful, bright ceramic glaze-coated objects occupy a special place in the factory's history. Traditional, hand-painted Zsolnay products are brought to the forefront of the world by their beauty, durability and usability.
