Between Arak and Isfahan lies the small town of Khonsar, where there is a weaving chair in almost every house. Wiss carpets have been knotted here in larger quantities for some time now.
On a madder red background there is a dominant hexagon as a medallion in the inner field, which is vertically accompanied by two neatly executed hooked diamonds. The other colors used are light gold and a rich royal blue. A rosette/palmette border encloses the inner field.
