Antique George V sterling silver coin purse / evening bag with 3-section concertina interior in soft brown tan leather. Traditional frame shape with curved bombé body. The bag is decorated with engine-turned medallions to both sides. The engraved design features wavy horizontal stripes that provide an elegant contrast to the plain sections of the body.

The bag is suspended on a thick and sturdy cable chain with a large finger ring that can be attached to a chatelaine belt.

Every part of the body is hallmarked, including the chain.

There is a vacant round cartouche to one side, so this can be personalised as a gift.

The bag can be used as a small minaudière on a night out.
