Why can't I open the Catawiki website?

This can happen if you’re using an older browser, operating system or device. In this case, when you try to open the website, you’ll get an ‘insecure connection’ or ‘unsupported browser’ error.

Install a new browser

We recommend downloading either Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

  • Download Chrome: select ‘save’ or ‘run’ and open the Chrome file. Follow the prompts to install Chrome. Once it’s installed, a Chrome window will open automatically.

  • Download Mozilla Firefox: run the installer and follow the prompts. Once it’s installed, open a Firefox window.

If you’ve followed these steps and the new browser isn’t working, try restarting your device.

Installing a new browser won’t affect your personal files.

Try a different device

If you’re using an older device, you might have trouble installing a new browser. In this case, we recommend trying a different device.

Update your operating system

If you’re using an older operating system, we recommend updating it. Make sure to back up important files and data before you do this.

Check with a professional

If you’re having trouble installing a new browser or updating your operating system, an IT professional can help.

We keep your account safe

We only support browsers, operating systems and devices that get the latest security updates. This helps keep your account safe.

If you’ve tried to open your Catawiki account with an older browser, device or operating system, your account is still secure.
